This film has the genre of action
and comedy. This is made very evident by the extreme pace of the trailer, as
well as the dialogue and performance shown in throughout the trailer. It is to
give a huge sense of rush to the audience, as well as making them laugh despite
the tense, ‘edge-of-your-seat’ kind of feel.
As you can see in the picture, this scene is full of humour. And as you
can see in the picture next to it, the character is in a 
dangerous situation that
signifies the build-up of suspense and drama. This is shown by the dopey facial
expression.

Mise-en-scene: Costume is used in this in
order to show the alter-ego of the main character, a key part of the story. In
one scene, his and his friends costume is portrayed as ‘nerdy’. Then, that
transforms into mysterious and ‘cool’. The way how it is an exact opposite
shows the two personas to be the perfect pair-up. The pictures below show this
clearly.

The editing at the start of the
trailer is extremely coherent towards the genre. It is fast-paced, and flashy,
image for image, catching attention as mere seconds pass. It is also suitable
towards the scene. In the middle of a bank robbery – until the hero steps into
the fray and engages the bandits in combat.
Sound: dramatic, deeply based, short sounds every time a punch was
thrown, or any other action made in the trailer. The effect of this is to add
to flow of intensity towards the scenes. It works as it makes the situation
look a lot more lethal and exciting.
The comedic effect is further added to when the scene of his friend
catching him climbing on the ceiling. He is shocked and drops a massive glass
ornament out of a mixture of being surprised and being frightened. It goes
silent briefly in this moment to gain focus on yet another dopey and funny
facial expression.
Location; the locations are fitting towards the genre. When there is a
call for action, the location will be something really unusual, such as the
camera shots from a really high point on the outside of the building, or
airborne at high altitudes. When it is just showing his normal life, the location
will be something more regular, such as in his room, or at the lunch table. The
location really shows a contrast between the two – a superhero and just your
normal, average teenage boy.
Lighting: The lighting is normally dark in specific places, but is light
in specific scenes of the trailer. Overall, it is mostly low-point lighting due
to how it is fitting in the heavy crime fighting scenes, such as the shot with
the monster.

-A trailer that jumps into the action straight
from the start. There is rushed an aggressive movements, James bond is in a suit,
and a combination with his outfit and his crazy movements, shows that this is a
story about a businessman who possesses a high amount of skill and experience
to be on these insane missions. This creates meaning as it gives the message to
the audience that the plot is going to be intriguing and exciting all the way
throughout, and makes the movie more appealing in order to soothe their
curiosity of the outcome and origins of the mission. There intense scenes of
fighting and jumping from trains, constant shots of life-threatening
situations. This is for the effect and meaning of representing the genre of
action to a pinnacle point to give the classic ‘James Bond’ feel that is highly
regarded in society for a considerable amount of time. There is so much action
in the scenes that most of the shots are either long or medium-long shots, in
order to show the whole situation. This is further accompanied by the actions
of the other characters, speeding in the car (long shot), for the effect of
adding to the rushed and fast-paced background of the situation. And the angry
woman demanding Bond gets the mission accomplished. It makes it very evident
that there is little moments of peace within the whole film, shown by the
trailer, giving hints that there will be little signs of relaxation, just pure
and clean action. It gives signification that there will be tragedy, death,
betrayals, extreme violence and much more in the film. Such a wide range serves
as a massive attraction for the targeted audience. This gives the meaning of
appeal to the audience in terms of strongly showcasing the type and genre that
